Baby & Me Yoga

Baby and Me classes are a unique opportunity to strengthen the connection with your little one. Challenging but accessible poses keep Mom, Dad, or caregiver strong and flexible. Massage and developmental yoga movements keep your baby engaged and happy. Perfect for infants 6 weeks old to crawlers, this class is an opportunity to bond with baby as well as build community with other families. We will move, laugh, sing and play! Please have your doctor’s permission to participate.

Candlelight Restore & Flow

By candlelight! A level 1 class for anyone who is new to yoga, revisiting the basics or any practitioner who prefers a slow Vinyasa format. Vinyasa simply means linking breath to movement. In a basics flow class we will bring together the breath, the body and the mind, through the practice of asanas. We will find variations suitable to the needs of individual students. Class ends with restorative poses to revive your vital energy – a calming, healing and soothing way to end your practice.

Restorative Yoga is a calm and healing practice where the nervous system is pacified and tonified by holding postures for longer periods with the use of props. Restorative Yoga is ideal for calming the mind, recovering from illness and replenishing your vital energy.

Bring Move With Grace Yoga to your office, co-workers and stressed out staff!  Your teacher will guide you through customized postures, breathing exercises, and much more to help you reach and surpass your goals for the workplace. See how yoga has helped the work place a better place.

Hatha/Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Open level classes are for all levels, however some experience in private or group yoga classes is recommended. We will explore various postures, themes, stretching, breathing and cleansing exercises that will help transform your mood, body and self-awareness. The more experienced practitioner can explore their individual expression in advanced postures and beginners will feel welcome and encouraged to grow and develop a self-care yoga practice.

Areas of focus: Strength and core building poses, increasing flexibility & circulation, whole body, back, hips, hamstrings, shoulders, inversions, compassion, focus, meditation, stress relief, philosophy, relaxation, beginning-basic pranayama.

Iyengar

Iyengar Yoga is known for its approach of being mindful of the structural alignment of your body. With use of props and support, students are led to practice in a safe and progressive manner. Each posture is instructed with detailed anatomical directions and precision so that a practitioner eventually settles into it with a quiet and steady mind. You learn to increase concentration and life energy that spreads throughout your entire body providing you with countless benefits!

Kemetic Flow (“Know Thyself, Love Thyself”)

Kemetic Yoga is the resurgence of the Yoga, Meditation and healing postures you see all over modern day Egypt’s Pyramids and Temples. The earliest forms of Yoga can be found in Africa! Learn Kemetic Yoga through sequences developed by Master Yogi Yirser Ra Hotep. From YogaSkills.com “Yirser Ra Hotep is a master instructor of Yoga and the creator of the YogaSkills Method. He is the most senior instructor of Kemetic Yoga in the United States with over 30 years of experience practicing and teaching. Yirser was involved with the original research and documentation of Kemetic Yoga along with master Instructor Dr. Asar Ha-pi in the 1970s.”

Hatha/Vinyasa Flow (Prana Flow)

Also known as Hatha/Vinyasa or Slow Flow Vinyasa. This class is great for those progressing towards a level 2 Vinyasa class. Learn the importance of building strength and control for smooth and safe transitions. We will slow down, explore and improve advanced postures. Areas of focus: Strength and core building poses, increasing flexibility, whole body, backbending, hips, hamstrings, shoulders, inversions, compassion, focus, meditation, stress relief, relaxation, beginning-basic pranayama.

Private Yoga

Yoga is traditionally taught one-on-one to personalize the practice. Your teacher will guide you through customized postures, breathing exercises, and much more to help you reach and surpass your goals. Typically, one would do a private class for the following reasons:

  • Yoga therapy for serious injury or emotional trauma
  • Specialized yoga for the aging or limited mobility with chair & prop classes
  • Stress/anger management
  • Self consciousness or feeling ‘lost’ in large group classes
  • Increasing knowledge or yoga and healing arts
  • Personalized adjustments & massage
  • Increased physical and mental flexibility and strength
  • Need for self-care

Flow & Restore

A signature Move With Grace class and what a way to end your weekend/begin your week! A level 1 class for anyone who is new to yoga, revisiting the basics or any practitioner who prefers a slow Vinyasa format. Vinyasa simply means linking breath to movement. Class begins with a warming vinyasa flow and ends with Restorative Yoga or Yoga Nidra. Restorative Yoga is ideal for calming the mind, recovering from illness and replenishing your vital energy.)

Vinyasa Flow Yoga (Basics)

Vinyasa flow is for all levels with no experience required. We will explore asanas using the breath to link one pose to another focusing on a slower pace to learn the basics of safe alignment and connection with the breathe. The more experienced practitioner can explore their individual expression as their practice develops.

Sun Warrior Flow (Vinyasa Flow)

A dynamic creative Ashtanga-Vinyasa inspired flow to assist you in deepening your yoga practice by learning to tools to increase your mental and physical strength and flexibility. We will explore asanas using the breath to link one pose to another. In an open level class we will explore challenging sequences, pranayama, meditation, philosophical teachings and move more quickly than in a basic class. The more experienced practitioner can explore their individual expression as their practice develops.

Areas of focus: Strength and core building poses, increasing flexibility, whole body, back, hips, hamstrings, shoulders, inversions, compassion, focus, meditation, stress relief, philosophy, relaxation, beginning-basic pranayama.

Flow & Prana (Vinyasa & Pranayama Flow)

A new hybrid yoga & meditation class to learn and master pranayama (breathing techniques) that will enhance your yoga practice and your path to peace of mind. This class will begin with vinyasa flow and the focus of the class will be pranayama & meditation. Early morning classes will end with live music.

Family/Community Yoga

Bring your friends, children, parents and siblings to this all ages Sunday Afternoon yoga class. The focus is on pre-teen to adults in a Hatha/Vinyasa style class. However one does not need to call child care to be here. Anything goes as long as we relax, stretch, breath, learn techniques to keep a calm household and lead most beloveds by example!

BARRE, FITNESS & DANCE

Barre

A high intensity cardio and total body toning workout using focused movements, a mat, a ballet barre, light weights and other props to get you in shape and bring great results with consistent attendance. If you’re looking for an effective core workout to tone your abs, legs, “gluten” and arms to some high energy music this is it. Our fitness instructors who are trained in ballet, pilates, dance and yoga, bringing a well rounded, fun and mindful workout!


BALLET

Ballet for Adults

Ballet for Adults is back! Join us for 90 minutes of ballet for beginners or people who missed childhood ballet classes. Ballet can help you improve your flexibility, strength and posture so that you can move with grace and connectedness with your body. This class is set to contemporary music and ends with choreographed movement to work on and improve week-to-week.


PILATES

Pilates Mat

Control, coordination, endurance and strength reign supreme in this alignment based form of movement. Pilates has been known to tone, strengthen, challenge the whole body while simultaneously help to rehab anatomical issues. All levels. Saturdays 9am.
